    Even-Handed Alexandria and her son, wizened Timo, are remembered as the first of Polita’s champions to unite the cities, creating the Apolitain League as it exists today.

    The League’s stories of this age describe gods and heroes working in tandem: divine champions embodied their patrons’ ideals and helped shape civic life.

    Godsfall devastates the northern territories, leaving ruins and damaged infrastructure throughout the countryside. The collapse of the Pontinate pantheon opens a power vacuum, filled by revolutionary ideas of self-governance and human autonomy.

    From the former heart of the Pontinate Empire emerges a passionate democracy. Citizens vote directly on questions ranging from infrastructure to military campaigns. Beyond its borders, deicide forces mortals and gods alike to confront what Lycia has done.

    The early years following Godsfall include a short war against the Apolitain League. The account of Lycia describes the fighting as closer to a skirmish than a prolonged campaign.

    At home, the new order also undertakes a long and bloody effort to root out Pontinate sympathies. Surviving forces loyal to the old empire continue to resist.

    Chronology note: this event is placed near Godsfall for reading order. Its exact year, and its relationship to the other dated events, are not established.

    Seven years after the Lycians commit deicide, Sarmania demonstrates the same capability. In a desperate act, the Sarmanians deploy the full capabilities of Ganzir in battle and kill Min.

    The war ends, but Na-Keb does not forget. Tensions remain along the border as Na-Keb continues to lose land to Sarmania.

    Dating note: 18 years ago is derived from Godsfall being 25 years ago and Min’s death occurring seven years later. No absolute calendar year is established.

    Sarmania attempts to annex ancient Lycian colonies on the northern shore. The People’s council of Lycia responds with an overwhelming 846–154 vote to enter a state of total war.

    According to the world overview, the war has continued ever since. The colonies are both a practical source of food and a symbol of Lycia’s struggle against divine rule.
